A Final Farewell: Remembering W.F Arnold

1984 marked the passing of W.F (Billy) Arnold at the remarkable age of 93. His death represented the loss of another link to Arnold's early history, having joined the business at age 15 and witnessed its growth from a modest local operation to a major regional enterprise. At his passing, he was survived by his children and grandchildren, as well as his older sister Esther, who at 96 years of age remained a living connection to the family's earlier generations.

W.F's long life had spanned nearly the entire history of Arnold's to that point, from the early days of horse-drawn deliveries to the modern operation in Wodonga. His passing marked the end of an era, but the values he had helped instill continued to guide the business through future generations.
