In a significant milestone for the business, the Arnold family purchased the freehold in Olive Street for 2367 pounds. This acquisition provided a permanent and stable base for their operations, allowing them to further expand and secure their presence in the community.

Additionally, Arnold’s expanded their infrastructure with a two-storey warehouse, aptly named Arnold’s Produce Store, located near the Terminus Hotel in what would later be known as C.O.D Lane. This warehouse played a crucial role in managing their growing inventory and ensuring efficient distribution to their customers.
